UK bicycle reseller supports 2021 and 2024 Olympic Dreams of British Triathletes Tom Bishop and Sian Rainsley donating a portion of resale profits!

Derby based, UK performance cycle reseller webuycycle.co.uk is proud to announce their support two of Britain’s Olympic hopefuls, Tom Bishop (Derby) and Sian Rainsley (Coventry), as they aim for Olympic success in 2021 and 2024.

The bike reseller, who specialises in helping athletes sell on their performance bikes in a hassle free and safe manner, was founded by three triathlon and cycling enthusiasts who have agreed to formalise their support for both Tom and Sian to give a significant boost in their respective quests to earn Olympic qualification.

Tom is ranked in the top 75 athletes in the world and is aiming for Tokyo Olympic qualification this year, whist Sian, who is one of the few athletes on a global stage in any sport with Crohn’s disease, is starting her journey towards Paris 2024 qualification as she steps up from U23 racing to the elite stage.

webuycycle.co.uk are supporting both athletes with vital financial support and have also provided Sian with a race bike.

To further the support for both Tom and Sian, triathletes and cyclists who have performance bikes to sell-on, can help further this support by quoting “#TomSianOlympicDreams” when reaching out to webuycycle.co.uk for a valuation whereupon a portion of their eventual sale will go to the athletes to further their support.

Paul Martin, Co-founder, of webuycycle comments; “We have been fortunate over the past year to have grown as a business, giving us a platform to support amazing athletes like Tom and Sian as they chase their Olympic dreams. As more athletes return to racing in the coming months, we are looking forward to further growth that will enable us to extend our support to both Tom and Sian.”

Tom who is currently in Japan for the Yokohama round of the World Triathlon Championship Series chasing Olympic Qualification comments; “I am really grateful for the support, with qualification this year, it means I can better focus on my training and racing as I chase not only my own Olympic spot but a 3rd spot for Team GB on the start-line.”

Sian adds; “As an athlete just starting out, it’s really difficult to get support and I am so grateful to the team at webuycycle.co.uk who have stepped up not only to lend me a bike but also help to cover some of the costs involved in racing.”

Sian is racing in Italy at the Caorle European Cup this weekend and then the World Triathlon World Cup in Lisbon on the 23rd of May.
