The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has announced the next selection of male athletes who will compete in the 2025 T100 Triathlon World Tour. Eight stars were announced in December, all of whom automatically qualified by placing in the 10 top overall during last season’s campaign.

A further quartet of ‘Hot Shots’ who will also be racing in T100 events this year was announced in early January.

Via the competition’s social media accounts, T100 has now confirmed that Mika Noodt, Gregory Barnaby, Justus Nieschlag, Antonio Benito Lopez, Jason West, Nicolas Mann and Menno Koolhaas will all be contracted athletes for the upcoming series.

German contingent bolstered

German stars Rico Bogen and Fred Funk have been joined by a further trio of German athletes in Noodt, Nieschlag and Mann.

Noodt, currently ranked #6 in the world by the PTO, enjoyed a solid 2024 campaign in the T100 Tour finishing sixth in Singapore, fifth in San Francisco and third in Ibiza. In addition, he claimed an IRONMAN 70.3 win in Zell am See in September, defeating the soon-to-be IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Jelle Geens by over five minutes.

Nieschlag and Mann are also ranked in the PTO’s top 20, which contains the five Germans set to compete on the tour. The former recorded three podiums across the 2024 season, while the latter claimed race victories at IRONMAN 70.3 Mallorca and IRONMAN 70.3 Les Sables D’Olonne.

IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia winner Barnaby is the reigning men’s IRONMAN Pro Series champion while four-time race winner in 2024 Benito Lopez, Dutch star Koolhaas and American West, who finished second at IRONMAN 70.3 Pucon last weekend, have also been added to the roster.
