Nicolas Mann picked up just his third pro victory on Saturday at IRONMAN 70.3 Alcudia-Mallorca, as the young German outlasted his compatriot Jan Stratmann on the run.
Stratmann, who finished third at last year’s IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, picked up another second place finish after securing the runner-up spot behind Leo Bergere at IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia last month.
In third, Italian Gregory Barnaby was able to reel in long-time leader Mathis Margirier in the closing stages of the run, as the 32-year-old picked up his first podium of the season.
