British Olympic triathlon star Georgia Taylor-Brown took to the gravel tracks of Spain last weekend as she completed the Traka 360 100km event.
And she secured a podium finish in a time of 3:41:19, just over 10 minutes behind eventual winner Sina Frei of Switzerland and two-and-a-half minutes behind Dutch star Leonie Bentveld.
Taylor-Brown was one of several triathlon stars who took to the gravel tracks this week. Legendary Brit Alistair Brownlee was forced to DNF following a crash, while Ruth Astle earned a top 10 finish in the mammoth 360km event.
GTB’s partner Vincent Luis was also in action in the 200km race, finishing a creditable 43rd, although he admits his time chip did not work correctly, finishing in a time of around 6:41:00.

The 31-year-old Taylor-Brown, who boasts a trio of Olympic medals across the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Games, reacted to her performance on Instagram, and hinted at a return to the event in the future.
“What an event to be part of ? Even if it was just for the 100k. But you gotta start somewhere ey?
“If you haven’t done a gravel event before, do one!!! And then do another, and another … because they are so much fun! I promise you won’t regret it!
