Dee Allen returns to complete the 2019 Team Freespeed squad
And then there were four. Having initially looked to recruit ‘up to 3 athletes‘ to join their squad for 2019, Team Freespeed (www.teamfreespeed.com) eventually settled on four new additions, such was the volume and quality of applications received to join the team. Having given you details on the first three additions (linked below), the fourth name is perhaps a familiar one, as Dee Allen is re-joining the team, having last been part of the set-up in 2014/2015.

Dee was a member of Freespeed a few years back and in her own words has had a few years of inconsistent racing and training. In our eyes she still pulled out some pretty big results including winning her age group at the European Middle Distance Champs and second elite at Powerman Mallorca.
When Dee applied to come back to the team this year her commitment to being very competitive at Nice Worlds was pretty clear. And we already know she is very talented so we’re excited about that talent and commitment coming together.
Plus what we love about Dee is she just loves every aspect of triathlon – the training, racing, kit, travel and friends.
