Winning form continues for Great Britain’s Lucy Charles at Challenge Prague
2017, so far, really couldn’t have gone much better for Great Britain’s Lucy Charles. Showing that she has fully recovered from her recent second place at the IRONMAN European Championship in Frankfurt, Lucy added to previous wins at Challenge Lisbon, IRONMAN Lanzarote and  The Championship (Samorin), by taking the tape first with a winning margin of over eight minutes at Challenge Prague on Saturday.
Leading out of the opening 1.9km swim by almost two minutes, Lucy also set the fastest bike split by almost five minutes before finishing off the day with the second fastest run split too. Impressive work from the young Brit.

The men’s race was won by Pieter Heemeryck (BEL) – who you may remember finished second to Alistair Brownlee at Challenge Gran Canaria – in what was a close battle at the front of the race with Andreas Dreitz (GER).
